(12) The Mexican Coin Answer Man: Volume 1 Issue 1: Last Revision: 02/28/05

One thing that greatly surprised us the last time our website was up and running (summer of 2004) was the sheer number of questions that were generated by our readers. These questions ran the gambit from helping people identify coins they owned and wondering if they were worth any money, to helping people find out of print books, to finding a coin dealer near them, etc.  Many of the questions we could answer, while others were referred to more knowledgeable collectors in other areas of specialization.

Therefore we have decided we will listen to our readers and make this a regular feature.

Here is what we need to help you determine what your Mexican coin is: A scan of the coin would be nice, but if you don't have one a full description of the coin's legends, an overall diameter of the coin, what metal is the coin made from and if possible the weight of the coin.

We will attempt to answer all questions by our readers on a first come, first served basis, we only ask one thing in return-- we would like to print the more relevant questions and our answers here on the Mexican Coin Magic website, allowing others to learn from them.  We will not print your name or address if you so desire, but would like to print your state or country of origin.
