Welcome to Issue 8 of Mexican Coin Magic Items for Sale. As is normal I’m going to deviate from the past, for this issue I have created three different fixed price lists. The first, #07-01 one is a mixed bag of coins from 1805 until 1914 that I have purchased for the FoxLair Reference Collections. The second, #07-02 is all Mexican Republic 8 Escudos, and the third, #07-03, contains only early Cap & Ray 8 Reales from 12 different mints.

I began these fixed price lists in January to take to a few coin shows. As each item is sold I mark it in the far left column with a Sold. So don’t waste your time asking about these coins, they are gone. When I have a pending sale or a coin is out on approval it is marked Pend. If you are interested in this coin contact me. If the sale doesn’t take place I will call the next person who asked about it, after it is back in my hands. The earlier you contact, the higher up on the list you are for receiving the coin. All sales are on a first come, first sale basis.

Let me give you an example: Several collectors have shown great interest in the Mexico City Mo 1905 M 20 Pesos on Fixed Price List#07-01. Several people have asked to see it. If I send you any coin on my fixed price lists and you don’t want the coin … you must pay postage and insurance both ways. Several collectors have wanted this coin, but feel it is overpriced because others have said it isn’t as rare as I think it is. This may be true, and I have turned down offers of $17,000 for the coin. So don’t order any coin with the idea of getting it, and then making a low-ball offer on the coin, because this isn’t going to fly. Make your offer before you order the coin if you want it cheaper than it is listed. Also be aware I’m from the old school and I do believe in quantity discounts. Therefore if you want to buy 10 or more coins at one time I will discount them.

Now for my Terms & Conditions for purchasing items from FoxLair:

1) All merchandise is guaranteed to be as described! (a) Books, auction catalogs, and fixed price lists may be returned within 10 days after receipt, if the plastic bag is unopened. (b) Coins maybe returned within 14 days of receipt: If Mylar flip has not been tampered with, if flip has been tampered with ... no returns! (c) Custom FoxLair Reports & Data Files are not returnable for refunds under any circumstances!    Buyer returning merchandise must pay postage and insurance both ways!

2) Buyers in United States pay actual shipping charges, no packaging fee. Buyers outside USA must supply shipping instructions, selected shipper and any customs paper work, if needed.  All shipments valued over $100 require insurance that must be paid by buyer. Insurance and rush charges are extra, and will be billed at cost.

3) Payments by Check or Money orders only!  No: Credit Cards, CODs or Pay Pal!  Check or Money Order must be made out to FoxLair Partners and drawn on U.S. Bank.  All checks and money orders must clear our bank and money deposited before shipment if I don’t personally know you. No Exceptions!

5) Wire Transfers: Recently we have been asked to accept direct wire transfers to our account to speed up the ordering and delivery process.  Yes, you may now make wire transfers to our account, but you must include a fee of $25 for these transactions and allow at least three days for the wire transfer to clear my bank.  If you want to do a wire transfer call me at (956) 943-8409 and I will give you the information needed by fax or email.
